Back to public transport

So this past weekend an important decision was made - that I give South African public transport,  specifically Metrorail, another try... Thing is: They don't always live out their motto:

"Getting South Africa to work!"

I felt that I need a break - it takes a lot out of you to drive in by car on a daily basis. I did an average of 90kms per day! Now, I will only drive to the closest station (which is 2kms from my home) and relax the rest of the way. I take it that as summer is looming - Metrorail will have less "downtimes," "train delays," "power cable thefts" and that their standard, pre-recorded apology won't be reaching my ears soon... LOL!

I've also undertaken to take an earlier train in the mornings, to try and avoid the rush... For those of you not familiar with the standard... It can get quite hectic finding a spot!

But, I'm not gonna let that deter me.
