JoJo - The name comes from my daughters - Jodie Leigh (aged 5) and Jordan Riley (almost 2yrs) - my princesses. A name given to them by their cousin - and it kinda stuck within the family.

When we decided to start a blog - and on the name - were we in for a surprise to see the amount of JoJo's out there! Goodness! Hence the RSA - we are from CAPE TOWN, Republic of South Africa. Nice tag, don't you think? Okay - more specific - a small quaint town called Kuils River, in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.

Anyway...
We needed a space of our own to keep our thoughts - spread some love - share a comment, or pic, or vid - brag / complain about family life, about things in general and try and make it better! We could explore a new place, check out a gadget, link up with like-minded individuals... there are loads of possibilities...


Well, we've been exposed to the internet for a while now... Remember in SA we pay for almost everything - even local phone calls. But lucky for us the boom of the cellphone industry has made internet usage more affordable - depending on which way you look at it.


We're still connecting at the speed of darkness (GPRS and EDGE), even though 3G Networks and ADSL Lines are lured in front of you. However promise of 3G connections (roughly 1Mb/s) is not always a given - even if you're paying for it. That's all dependent on where you're situated... And with ADSL Lines - well - be prepared to pay for such convenience.... But speeds of 20Mb/s (or more) is promised... with HDPSA+ too!


So, let's explore... see where things take us.... Be part of the journey... its not all just in the destination...
